CHAPTER 9: Studying Specimens and Dissecting frogs PART 1
"Why? Do you know my dad Mrs. Derek's Mom?" Denise inquired.
"Is he the same Glenn Anderson who taught biology in my high school?" blurted out, actually sprayed out, almost completely drenching Derek with spit.
"Im not sure but he told me that he did teach science when he was a teacher in high school"
Derek's mom 's eyes widened as if someone was about to kill her, you can see fear in her eyes and you can see that this Glenn Anderson did something bad to her, really bad..
"Mom? Why? What happened to you and Denise's dad?"
As soon as this was said, Glenn started towards the car. As he walked, Derek's mom quickly gestured the two lovebirds to go out of the car and meet halfway with Glenn so that Glenn wouldnt see her and she would be 'safe', so she thought.
*car doors slamming*
"Daddy!!" Denise rushed over to give her dad a big hug
"Hey, munchkin.. How was the date?" he said whil eyeing Derek like a tiger
"Oh, it was great, i had the best time" Denise replied now giving her dad a kiss on the cheek
Derek smiled, his date with Denise was a big 'success'... She had fun and he had the best time of his life.
"Why? What did you do?" her Dad's tone la little bit menacing
"No. sir!" Derek quickly said "Nothing like...that"
"You look guilty son, are you sure about your answer" Glenn now taking a step forward towards Derek.
Denise stopped him in his track "Daddy, be nice, we had a semi-rough night, good thing his mom stopped by to pick us up when his hummer broke down"
"His mom? Where? In that car? Son, isnt it rude not to introduce us?"
Denise realized her mistake "Dad, her mom's asleep, when she got us with her car, she was sleepy so Derek drove us here, she's asleep, asleep like a little baby.."
"She's asleep sir" said Derek almost not taking the bait himself "Sleeping, you see sir, she's old and needs her sleep"
"Old yet driving to pick you up, isnt that dangerous?? Sleepy, yet drove herself to wherever you were to pick you up, isnt that more dangerous? Wow, youre mom is super, ill definitely want to meet her! Also you, driving when you clearly went out of the passenger seat, is tha a new car model??No...? Amazing, can you explain how you drove when there was no steering wheel right in front of you?" Glenn said even more menacingly than before, clearly Glenn was a scientist, smart and observant, this didnt help Derek at all.
Derek was sweating like a pig.... Not only would his mom be mad at her but he looked like a big fat stupid liar to the dad of Denise. The three now started towards the car, Glenn leading and Derek and Denise stumbling to keep up with Glenn's big strides.
Inside the car, Derek's mom was pianicking, she shifted in her seat wildly and she, like her son, was sweating like a pig, only more. She even considered to leave with the car, that's why she did.
When the three stood only a foot away from the car, they were surprised whn they heard the engine revved and the tires screeched and the car gone out of their sight.
"Wow..." Glenn looked at Derek "Youre a liar son... And I dont like liars... I frobid you to go out with my daughter forever"
"Daddy!!!!!!!! That's unfair, he isnt a liar, it was his...."
Glenn signaled her to stop "No excuses, come on munchkin, lets go inside" Glenn took her daughter by the wrist and dragged her to their house...
"Bye Derek, I'm so sorry..."
Derek smiled blankly, laughing at himself... He was so stupid, he wanted to die....
After a long while of Derek standing by the tree infront of Denise's house, he started walking towards his place... After another long while, a car halted in front of him, almost hittong him, hitting him hard...
"Im sorry son, just my reflexes working back there"
Derek stepped inside of the car and went into a rampage "MOM!! WHY DID YOU LEAVE!!! WHAY CANT YOU JUST SAY HI TO HIS DAD? NOW DENISE AND I CANT EVER GO OUT AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT,HER DAD THINKS THAT IM A STUPID A-HOLE, WHAT THE HELL DID THIS 'GLENN ANDERSON' EVER DID TO YOU FOR YOU TO FRANTICALLY MOVE OUT OF THE WAY TO SAY HI AGAIN, AFTER ALL THESE YEARS TO HIM. WHAT!!!!!!! ANSWER ME!" Derek shook nervously with anger
"im sorry son it's just..."
"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!"
"STOP SHOUTING!!!!!!!!!!! DONT FORGET THAT IM STILL YOUR MOTHER AND YOU SHOULD RESPECT ME!!!!!!!!!!"
"RESPECT? RESPECT?!!!!!! MY RESPECT FOR YOU IS NOW GONE!!!!!!!"
"CAN YOU JUST LET ME EXPLAIN!!!!!!!!!!"
"I AM BUT I DONT HEAR ANY EXPLANATION, DO I?"
"KEEP QUIET IM TRYING TO EXPLAIN"
"I GUESS YOUR 'TRYING' IS DOING NOTHING"
"DEREK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR THe lAST TIME, SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!" Derek's mom said so loudly that Derek finally kept his mouth shut
"FINALLY!!"Okay, okay, I'll explain...... Like i told you, he was my biology teacher when i was in high school... Me and my friends were young, carefree and stupid. Back then, we....... did something and this Glenn Anderson....."
